Guide Horse Foundation Cooperative Efforts

The Guide Horse Foundation has provided guidance and support for the following experimental programs:

  • Guide Horses UK – Janine Martin and her work training guide horses in England for the blind.

  • Eleanor O’Farrell – A resident of the Republic of Ireland, Ms. O’Farrell is experimenting with a guide horse program for the Irish.

  • Panda Project - The Guide Horse Foundation has shared information with Ann Edie,  a horse trainer and a member of he National Federation of Guide Dog Users (NAGDU).  Ann came for training advice to the Guide Horse Foundation and donated over $1,000 to our cause. We have also advised Alexandra Kurland who came to the Guide Horse Foundation to learn the principles for training horses as guides for the blind.
